Available Services

• I offer a free home consultation (usually about 1 hour) to explain who I am and what my services are. I will give you information about doulas, breastfeeding, a birthing plan and questions to ask when interviewing doulas. I will also attentively listen to your concerns.
• I offer 2 prenatal home visits (usually about 2 hours each) to learn about and process your fears, hopes, dreams and desires, make a birth plan, learn about different positions and comfort measures, the signs of labor, etc.
• I will be on call day and night two weeks before the baby is due (and up to 2 weeks after if baby is late) for questions, concerns, changes, etc. (Of course you can call me at anytime for information or questions that may come up regarding your pregnancy.)
• I will remain with the mother throughout the entire labor and birth experience, taking pictures if desired.
• I will help to initiate bonding and breastfeeding support directly after birth, and will stay with the mother and baby until they are settled in their own room.
• I will supply lactation consultant information if needed.
• I offer 1 postpartum home visit about a week or so after the birth (usually about 1 hour) to discuss the birth experience, allow the parents to share both positive and any negative feelings, and process the event. At this time I will share birth photos taken at the birth if any, provide the negatives), and admire the baby!

My Fee

• My fee is on a sliding scale, asking for ½ down at the signing of the contract, and the rest due at the postpartum visit. I am willing to discuss a payment schedule if need be. Please contact me for my current fee.
